However, after opening the game to the main menu I find that the worlds are not there. Now it occasionally will say the download was a success. I went as far as to completely uninstall my sims and reinstall it. None of them would download and all kept saying download failed.
That was until I spent money on the sims 3 website to get sunlit tides, barnacle bay, and midnight hollow. After doing research this lead me to believe the content must've been faulty. I tried to install my mods and lots of other content but a good bit of them keep on saying 'Installation failed: Please make sure your game has the latest software updates and try again.' My launcher tells me I am using version 1.17, and as far as I can see after researching I believe that is the latest version. I recently switched to my desktop instead of my laptop.
